October!

Looks like we found a rental house just a matter of the paperwork being done. should be moving in about two weeks! Getting another tooth pulled this week,FUN! been picking up winter clothing, jackets, shoes, socks.. all things not needed in Hawaii. the leaves are changing , the weather is getting cooler. its been so long since i have been in cooler weather.. i LOVE IT . helped mom move furniture all day yesterday and im sore so very sore today. its going to be a relax and recover day for sure ! the whole process of switching Gage's school and getting our stuff all moved is going to be a real pain. i hate moving! it will be nice to have our own house again and to have our own stuff!! big things to come!

Fall!

Been awhile since i blogged

It has been a long time since i posted a blog. We are moving to maryland in the next few months! Hubby is coming out on tuesday and offically starting his terminal leave.. buh-bye navy! with the move we are starting a new chapter in our lives. All the moving and stuff is more sudden than planned so the getting a house thing is a bit touchy with the credit standards and whatnot with the economy. we will find out how that goes once hubby gets out here and we really get working on it.. Just got my laptop back from the shop.. stupid thing ! The kids are getting bigger and doing crazy stuff as usual lol i finished my college class and will start again next semester when i have the time to get it all set up. after tuesday life will be busy again so it might be some time before i can blog again..

Uncertainty

well so far we have NO idea where we are going next! it could be anywhere in the usa. TJ even said something about ALaska? its pretty but the seasons are not the most decernable of all.. i hate this not knowing stuff.. Gage needs to start kindergarten, i want to keep going with college i have a lot of work to do there and i dont want to get behind. the timing of all this totally sucks.. ugg..
today i made ratatouille.. then i hosed the boys off because they were annoying me with all their tv watching lol they were mad at first then they got over it and started having fun .. im almost over this horrible cold thank goodness. im so tired of feeling crappy !!! i think next week im taking the kids to the smithsonians in DC because they SO rock and are FREE lol.. it will be super fun! 3 small kids on the metro in a big city.. boy am i ambitious lol

Can you really?

Can you really go back and be friends with people you have not really talked to in 7 years? I went and hun gout and parrrtied with my old friends this week.. many whom never really bothered to catch up with me .. so they are running on assumptions about me from what they know all that time ago and then i do the same. In such a long time.. people are NOT who they were that long ago.. so here i am being compared to the person people expect me to be .. then conversations kinda dwindle, how do you talk to people that you really dont know anymore.. you go on what you knew so long ago.. certainly when your drinking it makes things all the worse. apparently i offended a few people with joking comments ( i was fairly smashed at the time at that lol) because frankly i DONT know them anymore, yet they all just assume that i should know it all like i had been there the whole time.. i have moved all over the country, dealt with a war-torn husband, had three children.. lived as a navy wife. when they knew me i was a insane little teenager always getting into trouble.. im so far past the person i was.. so i offended people, but did they truely realize that maybe i was offended by all the assumptions and preconcieved notions they had of me? I guess you just CANT go back sometimes and just be friends esspecially when its all on assumptions based on things from so very long ago..
